Fox-red Labradors in Europe are rare which is why for many years now I have observed the work of American breeders. Even in the US the Fox-red Labradors’ population is not so immense and not every Labrador is qualified to be shown in a dog show or suitable for breeding. It is also understandable why some breeders do not wish to give their hard-earned results to a different continent. Because of these and other reasons obtaining a Fox-red puppy is both not easy and cheap. However, I you are very persistent, want it a lot and try your best - then the impossible becomes possible!
And so on one nice day I was heard by Judy and Josh McCormick. After a short while we were able to bring home two Fox-red Labrador puppies. They are not sisters, yet they are inseparable friends starting from the kennel. This time I tasked two people instead of one to retrieve the dogs, since the rule for travelling with planes states that you are allowed one pet per person. And so this time my husband and my son went on this far journey. And again 6 flights…
In the picture, the Labrador girls are still in their motherland – USA, but very soon the long trip will start to their new home…
